2007 Singles Tournament

Over $1600 Paid Out in Prize Fund!

Scores were tough this year, but we did have four champions triumph in the end. We had  a turnout of 111 bowlers: 75 in the Open Division (54 men/21 women) and 39 bowlers in the Sr Division (29 men/10 women). Numbers were just slightly down from last year's event. We paid out $638 to the Sr Division and $1000 to the Open Division. The SCNBA donated an additional $355.50 to those prize funds. This was a quick 3 game one day event - the last of the season for the 06-07 card holders.

We would like to thank Phiten Titanium Products for coming out and donating samples to all of the bowlers. They were very enthusiastic in helping out the bowlers who have been bowling with pain. Hopefully their products will help you so you can continue bowling with ease!  Also, thank you to those who purchased California Pepsi shirts, towels and "The Best Bowlers Come From California" lanyards. Those funds will go directly to the scholarship fund for the youth who participate in the California Pepsi Championships for 2008!  Also, thank you to Rusty Bryant from The Pro Zone (inside Mission Hills Bowl). He donated a bowling ball for our raffle.

This tournament will be held next year, same weekend, same location at AMF Cerritos Lanes. Please mark your calendars! We will have entry forms available next summer. Thank you again for participating and for those of you who were not able to stay to pick up your prize money checks, we will mail them directly to you.
